I'm thrilled to announce that Tulip Sessions are back for another beautiful season!

Spring has officially arrived, and what better way to celebrate than with a family photo session among rows of blooming tulips?

Set on a stunning local farm, these sessions offer the perfect chance to refresh your family photos with a truly magical backdrop.

Thanks to my close connection with the farm, we’ll have exclusive access to the tulip fields, so you can enjoy a peaceful, private experience while we capture those special moments.

With acres of color all around, we'll create gorgeous, joy-filled photos you’ll love forever.

If you’re new here—hi and welcome! I’d love to quickly introduce myself.

I’m Simona, a passionate family photographer who’s never afraid to get a little muddy or soaked if it means capturing those magical, heartwarming images you’ve always dreamed of.

I’m also a proud Mama to two amazing kids: a cheerful, chatty 9-year-old daughter and a wild-at-heart 5-year-old son who keeps me on my toes.

The photo below? It was actually taken by my daughter last year—she’s already showing an eye for it!

We live in Sassenheim, right in the heart of the flower region, so I always know exactly where the best tulip fields are and when they’ll be in full bloom. I work closely with local farmers to make sure we’re in the right spot at just the right time.

Tulip Sessions are designed to be quick and easy, so you can get back to enjoying your day. Each session lasts just 15 minutes, and we'll work together to capture a variety of poses and groupings.These sessions are suitable for families, couples, babies, just you alone, or with your pet. Check out here some what we capture in 15 minutes.

Your package includes 3 edited photographs which you will be able to select, and the possibility to purchase more photos after the shoot.

Here are some of the most asked questions from last year, I hope this helps, feel free to get in touch with anything else you need help with. 

What is the exact location? 

The location will be made clear approximately a week prior to your shoot. Right now we can't tell yet which fields will be in full bloom on the day of our shoot. You will receive the exact location by text. 

What happens in case of bad weather?

If the weather is overcast, that actually works perfect for the photos. In case of heavy rain we will surely find a way to reschedule.

Whose fields are we shooting on? 

I have made arrangements with a local farmer, and they have given me the permission to take photos on their fields, so you don't have to worry about being kicked off someones property mid shoot.

What should we wear?

I don't recommend to wear super bright colours like red, orange of green, as it will make you blend into the fields. I would also avoid wearing patterns. 

Colours that work well: white, dark tones, earth tones. 

How do I reach the fields?

The fields can be very easily reached by car, or bike. There are also local buses that drop you off near some of the locations I will work at.
